Freedland, who holds a master of arts degree in art history and a master's in the philosophy of art history from Yale Universi- ty, will be responsible for La'Asot's day-to-day operations, increasing membership as well as managing major programs for La'Asot. Freedland also holds a bach- elor of arts degree and is a grad- uate cum laude from Barnard College/Columbia University. She has worked at the School of Education at Harvard Universi- ty and has been a teaching as- sistant and guest lecturer at Yale. Na'amat Group Holds Picnic The Men Friends of Na'amat/ Sallen Chapter will host a picnic Wednesday, July 30, for family and friends at Heritage Park on Farmington Road in Farmington Hills. This event is a fund-raiser. The proceeds go to support child day- care centers in Israel. Efforts are being made to pre- serve newspaper clippings, pho- tographs and past donor luncheon books. All donations of such material would be appreciated, as would additional help in filing, photo- copying and identifying members in vintage photographs.
