Louis and Carol Chartock of
Huntingdon Valley, Pa., an-
nounce the engagement of their
daughter Fran to Alan H. Dorf-
man„ son of Goldie Dorfman of
West Palm Beach, Fla., and the
late Joseph Dorfman. The future
bride is the granddaughter of
Ruth Feigelman of Miami Beach,
Fla.
Ms. Chartock received a para-
legal certification from Penn
State University. She is em-
ployed as a paralegal at an At-
lanta law firm.
Mr. Dorfman is a sports/en-
tertainment entrepreneur. He is
employed as a customer service
representative at MCI in Dun-
woody, Ga.
An April wedding is planned
in Atlanta, where Fran and Alan
reside.

University. She is employed as a
therapist at New Oakland Child-
Adolescent and Family Center in
Davisburg. Jeffi-ey earned a bach-
elor of arts degree in telecom-
munication from Michigan State
University. He is employed at
Lanier Worldwide Inc., selling
copy/fax equipment in Farming-
ton Hills.
A January wedding is planned
in Oak Park.
