EDITH GLADSTONE, 85, of
West Bloomfield, died July 9.
She is survived by her son,
Jerome Effron; stepson, Arthur
Gladstone; nieces and nephews
Roz and Mel Foster, Reva Lep-
ler. Mrs. Gladstone was the
beloved wife of the late Max
Gladstone.
Contributions may be made

and interment were held at He-
brew Memorial Park.

DR. SYDNEY HERTZ, 73, of
Boca Raton, Fla., died July 8.
Dr. Hertz was a dentist in De-
troit. In 1972, he left Detroit
and continued his dental prac-
tice in the island of St. Thomas.
In 1990, he retired from den-
tistry and moved to Boca Ra-
ton. He was a member of Con-
gregation B'nai Torah in Boca
Raton, a member of the Masor-
ti Movement and was very ac-
tive in conservation groups.
Dr. Hertz is survived by his
wife, Arlene Hertz; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Michael
and Karen Hertz of St.
Portage; daughters and son-in-
law, Elizabeth and Barney
Brown of Bowdoin, Minn., Ju-
lianne Hertz of Watertown,
Mass.; grandchildren, David,
Steven and Morgan Hertz,
Sarah and Wesley Brown;
brother, Dr. Phillip Hertz; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Reva
and Dr. Jerome Krause of
Farmington Hills; sister-in-law
and brothers-in-law, Betti and
Sol Kurtzman and Robert

Halperin. He was the dear
brother of the late Benjamin
Hertz.
Interment at Machpelah

HENRI KLEIMAN, 75, of
New York City, died July 6.
He is survived by his sons

drey, Cara, Lauren and
Michael. He was the loving
husband of the late Georgette

Emily Rose Scott. She was the
beloved wife of the late Ben
Kravitz and the loving mother
of the late Aaron Kravitz.

SOL FRANK MYERS, 83, of
Farmington Hills, died July 10.
Mr. Myers was a sales manag-
er for Rose Jewelers and a
credit manager of Payco Amer-
ican.
He is survived by his wife,

Bishop of Houston, Barbara
and Dr. Michael Simon, Joan

12.
She is survived by her

HARVEY SCHREIBMAN,
69, formerly of Livonia of
Boynton Beach, Fla., died July
6. He received his master of
arts degree from the Universi-
ty of Michigan with a major in
music. He taught as a music
director in the Wayne West-
land district for 25 years and
was the director of Jewish folk
choral groups in Detroit,
Cleveland and Windsor. In
Boynton Beach he became a di-
rector of Jewish folk music at
Florida Atlantic College.
He is survived by his wife,
Rose; daughter and son-in-law,
Arlene and Keith Fink; sons
and daughters-in-law, Eric
and Jan Schreibman, Mitchel
and Mara Schreibman; grand-
daughters, Cayla and Chelsea.
