coming to Detroit following a con-
ference in Montreal."
In the trip's follow-up report, it
was noted how impressive was
the Galilee hospital's computer-
ized record system. DMC wants
to invite Dr. Edith Flatow, who
set up the Ha'Emek system, to
share her expertise with DMC's
computer department and adapt
some of her system in a new
records system at DMC.
DMC has established many
links with hospitals and academ-
ic facilities around the world, but
prior to the joining of Sinai, there
was none with Israel.
"We are going to try and pro-
vide services for each other, out-
side of Partnership 2000,"
Campbell said. "It can be more
in the long run."
All five members of the DMC
delegation found the trip to be a
rewarding experience.
"It was an extremely positive
trip," O'Connell said. 'We found
ways that we could specifically
help each other out, and learned
that we were all struggling with
the same things. We aren't just
going to help them. They will
bring a lot to the table too. This is
a true partnership."
Said Isaacs, "Pm excited that
over a month after the trip, the
delegation is still so excited about
the trip and the partnership."

Judah Isaacs, senior planning
associate for the Jewish Federa-

two administrators.
'We did this so DMC could cre-
ate a closer tie to the local Jewish
community," Isaacs said. "DMC
has ties with several countries,
and they felt that Israel should be
one of them."
Accompanying Isaacs and
Campbell were Cathryn Pawlu-
