From start to finish, about 90
twenty- and thirtysomethings batted
around a piñata, dipped in the lake,
limboed and danced to the sounds of
Immunity, a reggae band led by a
Trinidadian Jew named Jonathan.
"The goal of the event was to bring
people together for a day at the beach,
get people out, to have fun," says
Danielle Kuffier, event chair.
So was HMD's summer mixer a suc-
