ANY TALK ABOUT success-
ful gals in the community these
days should include Adria Brown.
The lass with that great smile
is founder, president and CEO of
Madison Executive Galleries in
West Bloomfield, a commercial
and residential interior design
firm.
But that wasn't enough ... Last
year, Adria formed Recover I, of
which she is also president and
CEO ... It specializes in environ-
mental cleanups, and the han-
dling of catastrophic oil spills on
any body of water, particularly
the oceans and their shorelines.
Adria came up with a patent-
ed process that has been attract-
ing a lot of interest ... She uses
a centuries-old natural absorbent
to retrieve 98 percent of the
spilled oil, which in turn can be
reprocessed for recycling.
Besides the money-making,
just think of the wonderful thing
Adria is doing for marine, wildlife
and humans. ❑
