op, pretzels and chips were there for the taking, but they remained virtu-
ally untouched. The 100 or so fathers, grandfathers, daughters and grand-
daughters at the Daddy-Daughter Dance at Shaarey Zedek B'nai Israel
Center were too busy dancing to think about their stomachs.
Joe Cornell Entertainment kept the party moving, teaching line dances
and coaxing the girls onto the dance floor for limbo and hula hoop contests.
The May 15 event was sponsored by the Shaarey Zedek Men's Club as a way to
reach out to younger members, said Men's Club board member Robert Rollinger.
Because of its success, the dance will most likely be on next year's agenda. ❑
