Codish will lead a Rosh Chodesh
Study Session in honor of the
month of Sivan 7:45 p.m. Monday,
June 9, at Congregation Beth
Abrham Hillel Moses.
Her topic will be "The Mother
of Samson: Behind Every Great
Man ..." The session is free, open
to the community and will end at
9:15 p.m. No knowledge of Hebrew
is required.

Congregation Shir Tikvah's high
school program will lead a Sab-
bath service they have written
7:45 p.m. Friday, June 6, at the
synagogue.

Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will
hold its annual Auction Extraor-
dinaire '7 p.m. Saturday, June 7,

Has Opened

Michigan Region B'nai B'rith
Youth Organization has opened a
new BBG chapter, Koach BBG,
which draws membership from
the West Bloomfield/Farmington
Hills area. Koach held it first elec-
tion and selected the following of-
ficers: president, Rivka Garver;
first vice president, Rachel Gross-
man; membership vice president,
Becca Singer; treasurer, Saman-
tha Sefton; recording secretary,
Missy Solarz; corresponding sec-
retaries, Rachel Leemis and Ilyse
Kaplan; reporter, Rachel Beider.
Other founding members include
Michal Duer, Natalie Baum, Lind-
say Gordon and Lauren Wohl.

Congregation B'nai Moshe's youth
group BMUSY will hold elections
to the 1997-98 executive board at
a pool party 6 p.m. Sunday, May
25, at the home of Henry Rosen-
