Young Israel
Council Dinner

To honor him during his stay,
there will be a dinner 7 p.m. at
the Best Western Hotel on Thurs-
day, June It).

The Young Israel Council of
Metropolitan Detroit will hold
its seventh annual combined
dinner 6 p.m. Monday, June
2, at the Dearborn Inn. The
member branches of the council
will honor the following at that
time for their years of service
and commitment to their indi-
vidual branch and to the com-
munity: Young Israel of Oak
Park - Mr. and Mrs. Manny Mit-
tleman; Young Israel of South-
field - Dr. and Mrs. Eric
Peterson; Young Israel of West
Bloomfield - Dr. and Mrs. David

program. She was the Palestin-

Palestinian affairs.

Learning Network of Michigan,
will hold an educational
lunchtime conference at Cigna
Financial Services, 26555 Ever-
green in the Travelers Building.
Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz will
lead the discussion on "The Oth-
er Side of the Story: Suspicion
and Trust in Human Relation-
ships."
A deli lunch will follow the
discussion. The program will be
hosted by Stuart Sells. There is
