LILLIAN KUSCHINSKI, 91, of Southfield, died May 19. Mrs. Kuschinski was a gradu- ate of Detroit Teachers Col- lege. A teacher for 10 years in the Detroit elementary schools, Mrs. Kuschinski also taught displaced persons after World War II. She was a life- time member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek and Hadassah and a member of the Shaarey Zedek Sisterhood. Mrs. Kuschinski was also a member of Women's American ORT, the Eastern Star and the Infant Service Group through the Northwest Child Rescue. She was a major sponsor of the Jewish Book and Art Fair at the Jewish Community Center and a major contributor to the Michigan Opera, the Jewish Home for Aged and the Kuschinski and Indianer play- ground at the Jewish Commu- nity Center. Mrs. Kuschinski was also a volunteer at Sinai Hospital. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Donald Cutler of Bloomfield Hills, Ellen and Don Castleman of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Dr. Alan and Gayle Cutler, Michael and Dr. Nancy Cutler, Marc and Caren Castleman; great-grandchil- dren, Samantha, Chad, Adam and Noah Cutler; sister-in-law, Betty Glasier.
