Michigan Region BBYO will hold
its annual Election Training Con-
clave (ETC) May 16-18 at Camp
Maas.
Ann Arbor Teen Connection
will sponsor a trip to Camp Maas
on Sunday, May 18, to participate
in the ROPES Course.
Michigan Region BBYO board
of directors will hold its annual
meeting 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May
22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Janice
Charach Epstein Gallery at
Maple-Drake. The new board of
directors will be elected and in-
stalled. The guest speaker for the
evening will be Sam Fisher, in-
ternational director of B'nai B'rith
Youth Organization, who will
speak on "A Vision for the Fu-
ture." All parents, alumni and
community members are invited
to attend.
AZA and BBG chapters are
continuing the election process
for the officers to serve during the
1997-98 program year. Newly

`Barnyard Bliss'
Temple Israel's kindergarten,
nursery and Moving On Up pro-
gram will offer "Barnyard Bliss"
9-11:30 a.m. and 12:45-3:15 p.m.
Wednesday, May 21. This parent
and child event has a farm theme
and farm attire is suggested; par-
ticipants should bring a picnic
lunch.
Featuring "Holy Cow" with
Rabbi Joshua Bennett, the pro-
gram includes a petting farm and
planting corn and pumpkins for
Sukkot.

has been named president of the
Michigan Jewish Conference,
which was established to serve
the political and community re-
lations needs of the statewide
Jewish community.
