Marshall Rubin
Marshall Scott Rubin will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Friday, May 16, at Tem-
ple Israel. He is the son of Karen
and Dr. William Rubin, brother
of Spencer and Ethan, and
grandchild of Roz and Dr. Mor-
ns Rubin and Doris Epstein and
the late Ray Epstein.
His mitzvah projects included
helping with Meals on Wheels;
he enjoyed fund raising for the
temple Sunday school.
Marshall enjoys karate, com-
puters and skiing. He attends
Dunckel Middle School.

Paige Jillian Brill of Oak Park
will become a bat mitzvah at
Congregation Beth Shalom on
Saturday, May 17. Rabbi Nelson
and Cantor Greenbaum will lead
the service.
Paige is the daughter of Adri-
enne and Leon Brill. She is the
granddaughter of Mildred Stern
and Ann Pleasant. Paige also is
the granddaughter of the late
Jack Stern, Philip Brill, Adolph
Pleasant and the great-niece of
the late Ida Hill.
Paige attends Norup Middle
School. She has been taking
dance for the past eight years.
Paige plays the violin for Norup's
orchestra. She loves to dance,
rollerblade and do volunteer
work. Paige has been volunteer-
ing at Yad Ezra and the Meno-
rah House.
A party in her honor will be
held at the International Hotel.

Josh Gershonowicz of West

mitzvah at Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue on Saturday, May 17.
Josh's proud family are Sue and
Abe Gershonowicz, sister Jessi-
