Hosts Cantor Dubov

A premier performance by Cantor Stephen Dubov of Temple Beth
El will highlight the Jewish Historical Society luncheon noon Sun-
day, June 1, at Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Cantor Dubov will perform "An American Jubilee," a history of
the Jews of America in song.

Tikkun Olam

The Sholem Aleichem Institute will present an event honor-

ing the late Moishe Haar, director of the institute and school,
3 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at the Agency for Jewish Education.
This year's program will feature Reuben and Dorothy Silver
performing selections of English and Yiddish readings derived
from Yiddish authors.
Mr. Silver performed as
a child actor in the Yiddish
Art Theatre. He went on to
become the director of the
Cleveland State Universi-
ty theatre department and
the Karamu Theatre. Mrs.
Silver was the director of
the Cleveland Jewish Com-
munity Center Theatre and
visual arts department and
a leader in the Jewish The-
atrical Movement.
There is no admission
charge.
