The results of her work were utilized as part of a presentation that the West Bloomfield School District made to the local Wetlands Review Board. The project received the second place award in environ- mental science from the Metro- politan Detroit Science and Engineering Fair, along with a $300 prize from Environmental Technology and Waste Manage- ment.
