We Love
You, Barney
Maybe your Mom thinks a
dish of spinach, mushrooms
and onions is someth.t g peo
ple voluntarily ea
Perhaps your father ac
enjoys garlic and eggplan
Are these people really
man?
Here's a great word gam
you can play with them to
corporate their favorite food
your own ideas of a delicious
treat, and some made-up co
coctions that maybe no one
the world would find edible. -11,
It's called "Eat, Give Away and
Toss.
The fast nile: chfidren
ways go first in this game
The child creates three
foods. Remember, anything is
possible so you can say some-
thing as tame as hamburgers or
pizza, or something as wild as
zucchini sundaes. Mom then
has to decide which she will
eat, which she'll give to the
child with whom she is playing,
(that's you), and which she will
throw away. (It's a real expres-
sion of love when you give
Mom spaghetti cookies, onions
with chocolate sauce and a
candy bar, and she decides to
give the candy to you.)
Next, Mom gets to offer you
a flavorful threesome.
Parents, be forewarned: chil-
dren aged 5-8 are Rely to love
this game so much they'll want
to play ad nauseam.
(Many thanks to AppleTree
reader Rebecca Sykes of At-
lanta, who gave us the idea for,,
this garne. Do you have a goodj
