mer member of Jefferson Airplane
and a member of Hot Tuna, which
still occasionally tours. Hot Tuna, a
vehicle for Kaukonen's skills as a
country/blues guitarist, was formed
in hotel rooms after Airplane concerts
when Kaukonen and bassist Jack
