present a two-part Shabbat learn-
ing experience on Saturday, May
10, featuring Rabbi Jack Bloom of
the Psychology Center in Fairfield,
Conn.
Rabbi Bloom will give the Shab-
bat morning sermon, "The Next
Generation - Getting and Keep-
ing Them." Following services,
there will be a lunch and learn, by
prepaid reservation, at which Rab-
bi Bloom will discuss "Building the
Synagogue of the 21st Century:
Motivating a New Generation."
Rabbi Bloom is a practicing clin-
ical psychologist who has served
as a consultant for clergy and con-
gregations, leading training work-
shops on communication.
