remembered.

n Lansing, they gathered un-
der the dome of the Capitol to
light candles in memory of the
Six Million dead.
In West Bloomfield, they said
Kaddish for the dead, both in the
concentration camps of Europe
and on the battlefields of Israel.
With tears in their eyes, sur-
vivors, soldiers and everybody in
between also lit yahrtzeit candles
and gathered round the eternal
flame at the Holocaust Memori-
al Center.
Both events marked Yom
Hashoah, Holocaust Remem-
brance Day.
In Lansing, University of
Michigan Professor Sid Bolkosky
spoke of the lives snuffed out by
