and Me (May 4-17)

Anne Frank & Me tells the story of a 13-
year-old girl, who unconscious after an
accident, goes back in time and experi-
ences firsthand the Holocaust. On May
4, Yom Hashoah, a memorial service will
be included as part of the performance.
Recommended for ages 10 and older. Un-
der 4 not admitted. Matinee and evening

1945" (through May 24)

"Anne Frank in the World" documents
the rise of Nazism and the events lead-
ing up to World War III through the sto-
ry of Anne Frank and her family.
Developed by the Anne Frank Founda-
tion in Amsterdam and sponsored by the
Anne Frank Center USA Inc., the exhibit
will also feature videos and lecture pre-

"Insights Into Cruelty, Discrimi-
nation and Hope" (through May
25)
Flint Institute of Arts (VIA)
A two-part exhibition, "Insights" centers
on the theme of the artist as commen-
tator. Five large-scale works on loan il-
lustrate humanity's weakness as well as
the perseverance of hope. In addition, 25
works from the FIA's permanent collec-
tion illustrate an international 20th-cen-
tury artistic response to these issues.

Holocaust Film. Series
Flint Institute of Arts
The world premiere of Greta, a docu-
mentary about Greta Ferusic, the only
documented survivor of both the
Auschwitz death camp and the siege of
Sarajevo. Ms. Ferusic will be available
to meet audience members on Thursday,
I May 22. Additional screenings of Greta
scheduled through May 25.
