Andrew Topy

Jessica Renee &k in will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, May 3, at Temple Is-
rael. Leading the service will be
Rabbis Syme, Bennett and Loss.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be her parents, Judy and
Harold, and her sisters Nicole and
Allie. Jessica's proud grandpar-
ents are Pat Burlak of Delray
Beach, Fla., and Ben and Rita
Etkin of West Bloomfield.
Jessica attends Warner Middle
School, where she is an honor stu-
dent. She plays the cornet in the
Warner Concert Orchestra. Her
mitzvah project is ongoing; she
works at Yad Ezra monthly. Her
hobbies include dancing, weaving,
tennis and skiing.

Andrew Scott Topy will become
a bar mitzvah at Temple Israel
on Saturday, May 3. He is the son
of Hilary and Bruce Topy, broth-
er of Elaine and Jacqueline and
grandchild of Doris Topy.
As part of his mitzvah project,
he assisted at Yad Ezra. Andrew
attends Berkshire Middle School
and enjoys all sports.
