Nelson, the rebbetzin of Beth
Shalom, was one of four leaders,
although the reading was shared
among the five tables.
Michele Goldstein, who ac-
companied her mother, Mar-
garet Eichner, found the
Haggadah "interesting."
"I think we'll incorporate it
into our Haggadah," she said,
noting that her father appends
articles, poems and the like to

Jewish women and their
contributions to Jewish his-
tory: Deborah, the judge and
prophetess; Beruriah, the
scholar; Hannah Senesch,
Zionist and would-be res-
cuer of Hungarian Jews;
and Gluckel of Hamlen, a
wife and mother who bore
