ews from all the metro area converged on the Jewish
Community Center in Oak Park for a seder that has been
hosted by the Cooperative Council of the League of Jew-
ish Women's Organizations of Greater Detroit for some
40 years.
The Council, comprised of nine service organizations,
hosts a Passover seder and a Chanukah lunch each year.
Residents of group homes, nursing homes and Clinton Valley Cen-
ter were among the 102 guests last week. Everybody left with a -
box of matzah, fruit, mandel bread, cookies and candies.
Ruth Weiss and Elaine Kadishaw co-chaired the event. ❑
