JENNA GOLDENBERG, pres-

ident of Central States Young Ju-
daea and a Young Judaea board
member, recently attended two
conventions with Young Judaea's
sister movements. In England,
she attended the Federation of
Zionist Youth's (FZY) Veidat
Chord. In Israel, she attended the
first Atid Conference, a partner-
ship of nonpartisan, pluralistic
youth movements comprised of
Young Judaea, FZY and Israeli
Scouts. Ms. Goldenberg, a senior
at Birmingham's Groves High
School will spend her freshman
year in Israel with Young Ju-
daea's Year-Course. She will then
continue her studies at the Uni-
• versity of Michigan.

• sophomore at Berkley High
School, has been accepted to the
Advanced String Quartet Insti-
tute at Interlochen Arts Camp for
the summer of 1997. Aaron, a vi-
olinist, was also one of 100 public
school students from all over
Michigan to be invited to join a
statewide honors orchestra that
\ will participate in the Michigan
Youth Arts Festival at Western
Michigan University in May.
Aaron is concertmaster of the
Oakland Youth Orchestra and a
first violinist with the Michigan
Youth Symphony Orchestra.
