Jason Ira Cherkinsky will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah at Temple
Israel on Saturday, April 19. He
is the son of Barbara and Ed-
ward Cherkinsky, brother of
Todd and grandson of Libby and
Murray Cherkinsky and Lillian
Solomon and the late William
Solomon.
He volunteered at JARC as
part of his mitzvah project. Ja-
son attends Warner Middle
School where he plays the trum-
pet in the Varsity Band. He col-
lects basketball, football and
baseball trading cards and en-
joys playing basketball.
Aparty in his honor will be
held at the Hotel Baronette.
Lisa Nicole Gluck will be called
to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Friday, April 18, at Temple Is-
rael. She is the daughter of De-
bra and Alan Gluck, sister of
Jeffrey and grandchild of Made-
lyn Gruskin and the late Ben
Gruskin. She also is the grand-
child of Shirley and Michael
Gluck.
Assisting the elderly at Fleis-
chman Residence was part of her
mitzvah project. Lisa is an hon-
or student at West Hills Middle
School and enjoys music, danc-
ing, camping, soccer, tennis and
skiing.
Aparty in her honor will be
held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

vah at Congregation Beth
Shalom on Saturday, April 19.
Rabbi Nelson and Cantor Green-
baum will lead the service.
Participating in the services
will be Danny's proud parents,
Rose and Buddy Fenster, his
brother Bryan, grandmothers
Sally Berman and Lillian Fen-
ster and other family and
friends.
Danny is the grandson of the
late Louis Berman and David
Fenster, and great-grandson of
the late Jewell Kovinsky.
Danny attends Norup Middle
School. He enjoys hockey, music,
art and photography.

Bloomfield will be bat mitzvah
at Congregation B'nai Moshe on
Saturday, April 19. Rabbi
Pachter will lead services.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny will be Morgan's parents, Ed
Rose and Lynn Rose, and her

sylvania and Norman and
Shirly Harlich of Florida will at-

Morgan is a seventh-grade
honor student at Abbott Middle
School and attends Hebrew
school at B'nai Moshe. She is ac-
tive in dance and theater.
