A Fulbright Scholar who
speaks four languages, she
has reported from Germany,
Nicaragua and South Africa.
Lila has been honored by
the Detroit News Club, the
Detroit Press Club and the
Associated Press. .She is a
past recipient of the Hanns-Seidel fellowship for
two years of study in West Germany.

Brian is a graduate of Michigan
State Osteopathic College and
has completed his residency in
general surgery. He is practicing
in Grand Haven and Muskegon.
The wedding is planned for
May.
