2 tablespoons Manischewitz
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Potato Starch
1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
teaspoon salt

Y, cup water
1 cup fruit cocktail, drained
Combine first three ingredients in a small saucepan. Gradually blend in the water.
Cook over moderate heat until thick. stirring constantly. Gradually blend in the wine and lemon
juice, cook about 2 minutes longer or until thickened again. Cool. Add drained pineapple
chunks or fruit cocktail. Spoon over Spice-Nut Sponge Cake slices. Or. use the Wine Sauce over
your favorite ice cream. cake. or other dessert.
