If You Are Jewish And You
(or someone you love)
Have BS Or Disabling
HIV, CAB!

At nine months pregnant,
Lori was still serving customers
/-• and gazing lovingly at her hus-
band, who handed steaming
dishes of pasta and pizza to
guests from all over the world.
The place has built a solid rep-
utation thanks to positive re-
views in British, Italian and
American newspapers after its
opening.
"Now, everybody comes here,"
says Lori. "Really, it's nice. You
can walk in and see young
students, grandparents, Italians
visiting or working here,
tourists, Israelis."
They don't advertise; people
find Angelo Ristorante via
word-of-mouth or by chance, but
they keep coming back, she
says.

People find
out by
word-of-mouth.

The Roman cuisine features
some specifically Roman-Jewish
items, such as concia, a fried,
marinated zucchini dish; and
spaghetti cacio e pepe, with
Safed cheese (pecorino cheese)
and black pepper.
There are standard, but
scrumptious, Italian dishes such
as penne alla vodka with a rose
cream sauce and a dash of vod-
ka, and a bevy of tantalizing
appetizers including four br-
uschettas, six focaccias, and four
salads.
But the best part is the ser-
vice. Lori and Angelo smile like
they mean it and converse with
customers as if they were
friends. [II
