DR. IRVING N. ADLER, 84,

of Southfield, died March 20.
Dr. Adler was an optometrist
with offices in Highland Park
and Novi and operated a volun-
teer eye clinic at the Wayne
County Juvenile Home. He was
a member of Michigan Opto-
metric Association, Perfection
Lodge and the Highland Park
Lions Club.
Dr. Adler is survived by his
wife, Lillian Adler; son and
daughter-in-law, Barry and
Carmen Adler of Oak Park;
daughter and son-in-law, Don-
na and Zimry Ron of Israel;
grandchildren, Anat, Eyal,
Benni and Yael Ron, Stacy and
Jeffrey Dallesander, Tamar
Adler; great-grandson, Joshua.
Interment at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may
be made to a charity of one's
choice. Arrangements by the

MJAC PASSOVER EVENTS
The Michigan Jewish AIDS Coalition (MJAC) reaches out to the
many Jewish individuals living with AIDS/HIV in this area. As a
demonstration of its support, MJAC is planning three special
Passover events:
• Passover Packages—MJAC will send boxes with matzah, candy,
gefilte fish, a Hagaddah and other kosher-for-Passover products.
Packages can be sent anywhere in the U.S. and arrangements can
be made to ensure confidentiality.
• Passover Seder—sponsored by SIMCHA and MJAC at Southfield's
Furniture Club, 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 13; There is a $20 charge
(adjusted fee available). Call SIMCHA (810) 353-8025 or MJAC
(810) 594-6522.
• Congregational Seders/Home Hospitality— MJAC is extending invita-
tions to Jewish individuals living with AIDS/HIV. There is no charge to
participants.
There is an Am/ 7 deadline for requests. Please call MJAC

Franklin, died March 18.
He is survived by his daugh-
ter, Deborah Adler of Summer-
field, Ohio; brother and sister-
in-law, William and Rose Adler
of New York; sister, Marden
Greenfield of New York. Dr.
Adler was the beloved husband
of the late Ethel Adler.

BELLE G. BERENSTEIN,

85, of Southfield, died March
22. Mrs. Berenstein was a
member of Temple Beth El and
a life member of B'nai B'rith.
She is survived by her hus-
band, Louis Berenstein; daugh-
ter, Dorsey Menken of Farm-
ington Hills; son and
daughter-in-law, Aubrey and
Joyce Berenstein of Troy;
grandchildren, Jason, Scott and
Carly Berenstein, Steven and
Francine, Robert and Jill
Menken; great-grandchildren
Dayna and Zachary Menken;
sisters-in-law, Betty Chernow
and Lil Bobkin. Mrs. Beren-
stein was the loving mother of
the late Jerrold Berenstein. In-
terment at Beth El Memorial

Mr. Breshgold worked for
Chrysler Corporation for 25
years. He was a veteran of
World War II, a member of the
United Auto Workers and the
Jewish War Veterans.

He is survived by his wife of
51 years, Lillian; son, Steven
Breshgold of Beverly Hills;
daughters, Elaine Breshgold
and Charlene Breshgold of
Portland, Ore.; brother, Joseph

Bloomfield, died March 21. Ms.
Bunin was a teacher and a
member of Na'amat and the
Detroit Federation of Teachers.
She is survived by her broth-
er and sister-in-law, Max and
June Bunin of Pepper Pike,
Ohio; sister and brother-in-law,
Bess and Boaz Siegel of West
Bloomfield.
Interment at Adat Shalom.

REBECCA CORWIN, 86, of

California, died March 1g.
Mrs. Corwin is survived by
her son, Joel Corwin; sisters
and brother-in-law, Ida Katz,
Sally Kosit, Bessie and Mar-
shall Piper. She was the
beloved wife of the late Rudy
Corwin and the dear sister-in-
law of the late Sara Katz and
the late Maurice Klayman.
Interment in California. The

JACK FELDMAN, 96, of

Farmington Hills, died March
23.
He is survived by his sons
and daughters-in-law, Ray-
mond and Janet Feldman of
Farmington Hills, Daniel and
Marilyn Feldman of Southfield;
daughter and son-in-law, Mari-
lyn and Ben Berman of Oak
Park; grandchildren, Barbara
and Jeffrey Shaman, Debbie

Randy and Cheryl Feldman,
Dr. Richard and Laurie Feld-

IRENE FIERBERG, 96, of

Delaware, formerly of Hunting-
ton Woods, died March 22. Mrs.
Fierberg was a sales associate
for Healey's. She was a member
of Mizrachi and Hadassah.
Mrs. Fierberg is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law,
Morris and Rosalyn Fierberg of
Delaware; grandchildren,
Steven Fierberg, Andrew Fier-
berg and Giuliana Bruno, Dou-
glas and Janine Fierberg;
great-grandchildren, Audrey
Rae and Vivien Grace Fierberg;
sister, Roslyn Green of Beverly
Hills. She was the beloved wife
of the late Nathan Fierberg and
the dear sister of the late
Katherine Liebschutz, the late
Joseph Corn, the late Leila
Corn and the late Florence

MELVIN FISHMAN, 75, of

Southfield, died March 21.
He is survived by his daugh-
ter, Arlene Fishman of Wind-
sor, Ontario, Canada; brother
