Support Group
Plans Meetings

The Temple Israel Caring Com-
_ munity Committee will offer a so-
cial and support group for people
with physical challenges. Led by
Barbara Bockoff and Anita
Haenick, the group will meet 7
p.m. Thursdays, April 3 and 17,
May 1, 13, and 29, and June 5
r) and 19, at the temple.
Speakers and topics include the
following: April 17, Jonny Kest
will teach yoga; May 1, attorney
James Keller will focus on future
planning and resources for the
physically challenged; May 13,
Julie Levinson will lead the group
in wheelchair exercise and dance;
May 29, Annie Greco will discuss
techniques for becoming one's own
- advocate; June 5, Betty Ramey,
head librarian for the Oakland
County Library for the Blind and
Physically Handicapped will dis-
cuss accessing "talking books" and
large print material.

Group is free and open to any
member of the metropolitan De-

The Shalom Campers of Michi-
gan, the nation's first organized
Jewish camping club, has an-
nounced plans for a 25th an-
niversary reunion to be held
Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Sylvan
Lake Community Center. All pre-
sent and former Shalom Camp-
ing Families are invited to attend.

Synagogue will speak on "How to
Prepare Your Home: The Laws
of Passover Kashrut." Preceding
the study session, a light lunch
