Next, draw a picture of the animal on a blank piece of paper.
, Then cut the paper in half, so that the front half of the animal will
be on one piece of paper, the back end on another. Continue until
you have done this for all the animals.
Separate the fronts and ends, placing all the fronts on one side of
the table and all the ends on the other. Then turn all pieces of paper
over so that you see only the blank backs. Here's where the fun be-
gins!
Have each player turn over one front and one end. If he gets a
matching set (the front and end of a lion), he should turn one
piece upside down. The goal here is not to make a match but a
very funny creature. Each player should put together a front and
an end, then make up a funny name. The front of a parrot and
the end of a dolphin, for example, would make a "parphin." The
front of a monkey and the back of an opossum would make a
"monpossum." Continue playing until all cards have been used.
Hard
Knocks
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Goat..
Goat, wild?
Goat to your room!
Okay, so it's so corny it
c/
probably made you cringe.
Don't just complain: Do
something!
The AppleTree is looking
for knock-knocks (no matter
how silly!) about any kind of
animal (except your little
brother). If we like yours,
we'll run the joke and your
name on our Pets Page. Please
send to Jokes, Pets Page, The
AppleTree, 27676 Franklin
Road, Southfield, MI 48034.
Meanwhile, here's another
really ridiculous one:
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Barbie. \
Barbie,
who?
Barbie
'IP,
a Chicken.
