Jewish Life In Poland The Midrasha Center for Adult Jewish Studies of the Agency for Jewish Education and Congre- gation B'nai David will present "Jewish Life in Poland Today," 8 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Con- gregation B'nai David, 5642 W. Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield. The evening will feature Rab- bi Michael Schudrich, executive director of the Lauder Founda- tion in Poland. Rabbi Schudrich, an American rabbi who was for- merly the rabbi of the Tokyo, Japan, Jewish community, is in- volved in the effort to rebuild Jewish life in Poland. The Lauder Foundation has established a Jewish school, four youth clubs and a summer camp in Poland, supports a Jewish newspaper, helps repair Jewish synagogues throughout Poland, and has launched a genealogy project at the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw.
