Zachary Weisman Stacie Steinway

Zachary Adam Weisman was
called to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday, March 1,
at Temple Israel. He is the son
of Joanne and Dr. Marc Weis-
man, brother of David and Emi-
ly, and grandchild of Lillian
Movish and Dorothy Weisman.
Zack continues his volunteer
work by visiting Fleischman
Residence weekly; he also
helped to feed the homeless. He
is a student at Berkshire Mid-
dle School and enjoys skiing,
mountain biking, baseball, bas-
ketball and collecting basketball
cards and surfing the Net.

Stacie Ann Steinway will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah at Tem-
ple Israel on Saturday, March
15. Stacie is the daughter of
Steve and Debbie Steinway and
sister of Caren Steinway. She is
the great-granddaughter of Eva
Gertzman and granddaughter
of Bea and Marvin Howard and
Pearl and Martin Olshanksy.
Stacie is a seventh-grade stu-
dent at Abbott Middle School.
As part of her mitzvah project,
Stacie participated in making
goody bags for children living in
shelters and did volunteer work
at Fleishman Residence. She en-
joys horseback riding in her free
time.

Hills was bat mitzvah at Con-
gregation Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses on Saturday, March 9.
Rabbi Bergman led the services.
Participating in the ceremo-
ny were Ilana's parents, Gary
and Penina Weltman, and her
sisters, Danya, Aveila and Seri-
ta. Grandmother Helen Welt-
man of Rochester, N.Y.,
attended.
A party was held at the syn-
agogue. liana is a student at Hil-
lel Day School and is active in
gymnastics and dance.

Jessica Robins was called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on Sat-
urday, Feb. 8, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Participating in the
service were Jessica's parents,
Robert and Elaine Robins, and
her brothers, Matthew and
Aaron.
