Purim Salute

CHaZaKaH, Adat Shalom Syna-
gogue's seniors, will hold a lun-
cheon and musical medley in
salute to Purim 12:30 p.m. Thurs-
day, March 27, at the synagogue.
The program will feature Adat
Shalom Cantor Howard Glantz as
well as songs by the children of the
synagogue's nursery school. The
day will end with a post-Purim
dessert of hamantashen.
Cost for this afternoon is $5 per
CHaZaKaH member and $6 per
non-member. Send checks no lat-

JPM Seniors
Plan Events

Rabbi Avraham Jacobovitz from
Machon L'Torah will speak 1 p.m.
Monday, March 17, at the JPM
Jewish Community Center. He
will discuss "Religious and Secu-
lar Jews in Israel.” There is a
charge for non-members.
The JPM seniors and nursery
school students are invited to
make hamantashen for Purim 10
a.m. Tuesday, March 18. There is
no charge.
The Charles and Frances Drik-
er Fund will present a concert fea-
turing Ben Opengayn 1 p.m.
Thursday, March 20. Mr. Open-
gayn will entertain on the key-
board with Yiddish and other
ethnic songs. There is no charge.
New classes and groups are be-
ginning at the JPM. A Judaic class
with Shoshana Ben-Ozer will be
held 10 a.m. on Wednesday in
Room 124. The Senior Forum will
be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
