Bloomfield. Zack is the son of
Laurie Penn of Southfield and
the late Gerald Ruderman.
Marcia earned a bachelor of
science in education from Cen-
tral Michigan University. She is

employed as a computer trainer
at the law firm of Dickinson,
Wright, Moon, Van Dusen &
Freeman. Zack earned bachelor
of arts degrees in international
relations, economics and ac-
counting with high honors from
Michigan State University. He is
employed with EDS as a finan-
cial analyst.
A September wedding is
planned.

Kaner of Sylvan Lake and
Scottsdale, Ariz., are pleased to

their daughter Cathryn Sue to
Ilya Taytslin, son of Mr. Vladimir
and Mr, Lyudmila Taytslin of
Needhal , Mass.
Cathryn holds a bachelor of
arts degree in communications
from Michigan State University
and a master of science degree
in public relations from Boston
University. She is president and
owner of Catalyst Communica-
tions, a company that provides
public relations and marketing
communications services to high-

tech companies. Cathryn also is
a board member of the Reform
Jewish Congregation of Ashland,
Mass. She is the granddaughter
of Mrs. Shirley Kaner of West
Bloomfield.
Ilya received his bachelor's de-
gree in mathematics and master
of science degree in computer sci-
ence form SUNY/Albany. He is
a senior software engineer of Lit-
tleNet, a provider of Internet
commerce services. He is the
grandson of Mrs. Frida Gilman
of West Roxbury, Mass.
The couple plans a July 6 wed-
ding at the Hotel Baronette in
Novi.
