He served as executive director and executive vice chairman of the Zionist Organization of America for almost four decades. He re- tired in 1983 after a long career of service to Israel and Zionism. At the time of his death he was a vice president of the Fed- eration of Polish Jews and chairman of the Polish Jewry Memorial Forest in Jerusalem. During his tenure at the ZOA, Mr. Ilutovich was entrust- ed with the direction of ZOA projects in Israel and with world Zionist affairs He was also ZOA's official representa- tive at the first Latin American Conference of General Zionists in Santiago, Chile. Services were held in New York City; interment took place at Kiryat Schaul in Israel. He is survived by his wife Rebekka (Renia).
