radley Jaffe, 15, of Farm-
ington Hills, has won a spot
on the U.S. junior tennis
team for the World Mac-
cabiah Games in Israel this sum-
mer.
Jaffe is one of eight teens who
qualified during try-outs in mid-
February at the Maple-Drake
Jewish Community center and
the Sports Club. He is the only
team member from Michigan.
A sophomore at North Farm-
ington High School, Jaffe played
No. 2 singles as a freshman and
had a 20-4 season. He is a
ranked U.S. tennis Association
junior player.
Other qualifiers for the U.S.
junior team include Ross Green-
stein, Minnesota; Zach Gallin,
New York; Scott Levit, Ohio;
Lindy First, california; Nina
Zeitlin, New York; Stephanie
Price, Missouri; and Stephanie Bradley Jaffe
Cook, Colorado.
