Ashley MacIsaac, pictured, has changed Celtic music forever. The
Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, native began playing the fiddle at age
9, and has since become a local legend. In his own words, he says
that what he has done to traditional Celtic miisic could be compared
to "if Robert Johnson was in a time machine and got thrown into
the 1990s and put his music in with what's happening now." He re-
tains the integrity of the fiddle, interspersing the hard-driving grit
