The Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center will host a wheel-
chair basketball tournament this
weekend featuring the Ann Arbor
Thunderbirds, the No. 1 ranked
wheelchair team in the United
States.
There will be games at the JCC
at 2:30, 4:30 and 6:30 Saturday,
/- March 1, and 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30
Sunday, March 2.
The Thunderbirds, which prac-
tice at the JCC, is the host team
and is preparing for the national
championships later in March.

Kids Soccer
In Oak Park

Oak Park Recreation and Amer-
ican Youth Soccer Organization
are forming a spring soccer pro-
gram for children ages 8-14.
Practices will be held Tuesday
and Thursday evenings, begin-
ning April 8. Games will be
played on Saturdays, beginning
April 19.
Fees are $45 for residents, $50
for non-residents.
