Adults Study
About Pesach

Passover, American Jewish
history, Hebrew Bible, and Jew-
ish values will be among the sub-
jects offered for adult learning on
six Wednesday nights starting
March 12 and leading up to the
Passover holiday.
The programs are co-spon-
sored by Congregation B'nai
Moshe, Congregation Beth Abra-
ham Hillel Moses and Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit.
Six different courses will be of-
fered: three from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
and three from 7:15 to 8 p.m. All
classes will be held at Hillel Day
School.
The program is open to all in-
terested adult learners. There is
no charge for members of the
sponsoring synagogues or for par-
ents of Hillel students or gradu-
ates. For others, tuition is $25 per
course or $40 for two courses tak-
en back-to-back.
The following three courses will
be offered at 6:15 p.m.: "Why Is
This Book Different? Under-
standing the Passover Hag-
gadah," taught by Ruth Bergman;
"The History of Zionism: A Cen-
tennial Overview," taught by Seth
Korelitz; and "G'milut Hasadim:
A Prime Jewish Value," taught by
Seth Korelitz; and "G'milut
Hasadim: A Prime Jewish Value,"
taught by Aviva Silverman.
Courses offered at 7:15 p.m.
will be "Practical Passover,"
taught by Ruth Bergman; "The
Evolution of the American Jew-
ish Community, 1654 to 1904,"
taught by Seth Korelitz; and
'Verse by Verse: The Book of Gen-
esis," taught by Aviva Silverman.
