Compensation Liberalized
The German government has expanded compensation criteria for victims of the
Nazis.

has agreed to expand the

compensation to an ad-
ditional group of Nazi victims,
the Conference on Jewish
Claims Against Germany has
announced.
According to the new deci-
sion, victims of Nazi persecu-
tion who have received, to
date, one-time compensation
payments of more than 10,000
deutsche marks (approxi-
mately $6,000) will
become eligible as of Victims of
July 1, 1997, for the Nazis.

been imposed, Nazi victims who
have not yet applied to the fund
may do so now.
