Q. As a mother I think it is
really foolish to straighten
my child's hair. She is 5
years old.
Our little girl keeps
wanting to straighten it be-
cause she says her best
friend also wants to get rid
of her curly hair.
Should I insist on the
straightening process to
satisfy our little girl or con-

a My sister gave a box of
