Times may change, but for the
present, consider supporting
the little girl's decision.

Q. As a mother I think it is
really foolish to straighten
my child's hair. She is 5
years old.
Our little girl keeps
wanting to straighten it be-
cause she says her best
friend also wants to get rid
of her curly hair.
Should I insist on the
straightening process to
satisfy our little girl or con-
tinue with the curly hair?
What do you think?

who is 3 years old. She
doesn't have a child of her

the crayons do not pose a
problem.
Our youngster scrawls
with the crayons, one page
after another. It doesn't
look good to me. Do you
think it makes any sense to
let her to do that?
I'm really worried about
the mess that she makes.
