THE ART SCENE
FUN FOR THE FAMILY
BY FRANK OC KENFELS
MORE FOR YOUR EARS
Three months after Carl Dreyer's silent 1928 cl c film The Pas-
sion of Joan of Are premiered, it was thought to be destroyed in
a warehouse fire. In 1981, a copy of the original film was found
in the back of a janitor's closet in an insane asylum, and was sub-
sequently restored. The film -- starring Maria Falconetti, Euge-
nia Sylvaw, Maurice Schultz and Antonin Artaud will be paid
homage: Richard Einhorn has composed an original score, to be
performed by the magical Anonymous 4 (pictured), I Cantori and
the Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra, live at a showing of this film.
7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16; $24-$36. Michigan Theater, 603 E. Lib-
