Our readers deluged us with photographs of their loved ones. TH E DE TR OIT J EWISH NE WS JILL DAVIDSON SKI AR STAFF WRITER 14 e asked you to send in pho- tographs of the ones you love. And you did. In droves. In one week, about 70 en- tries were received in re- sponse to an advertisement in The Jewish News by Tap- - per's diamonds and fine jew- elry. The photos also served as an entry into a random drawing for a 1/2-carat dia- mond heart necklace, which was won by Michael Silverton of Farmington Hills. More impressive than the vol- ume of entries was the quality. There were pictures of children, husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, cousins, grandpar- ents, sisters, brothers, grand- children, stuffed animals, and real cats, dogs and a deer. They told stories of long rela- tionships and ones that have barely begun, tales of love at first sight and those who found love along the rocky road of life. Each new subject was as heart- warming as the last. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing your loves with us. 0 Top right: Marshall Lett, the husband of Moreen Lett of West Bloomfield and father to Adam and Danielle, was watching whales on a recent vacation to Hawaii. "We have been married for 30 years, which have been filled with lots of fun and lots of love," Mrs. Lett said. Above: Jay and Heather Cykiert of Farmington Hills wrote the following about their three children, Denise, Ryan and Justin: "You are the love of our lives; you are our dreams come true. We feel so blessed to have all three of you." Top left: "If I had to do it over again, I would do it exactly the same," Dr. Martin Selik of Southfield said of his 55-year marriage to his wife, Harriet. This photo of Dr. Selik, the first person to be awarded the First Citizen of Southfield award, was entered by Harriet, with whom he has four children: Judi Selik, Betsy LaFond, Joel and Scott Selik. Left: Michael Silverton finds Sharon, his wife of 25 years and mother of his daughters, Amy and Rachel, even "more lovely in person" than this picture shows. "I am sure I will find her so beautiful 25 years from now, 75 years from now," he said.
