Machon Plans
Israel Trips

Machon L'Torah will lead two
tours to Israel, one in the spring
and one in the summer.
The tours will be led by Rabbi
and Mrs. Jacobovitz and Rabbi
and Mrs. Kirzner. The first tour
will depart Detroit on Monday,
May 5, and will return on Mon-
day, May 19. The second tour
will depart Detroit on Sunday,
Aug. 17, and will return on Sun-
day, Aug. 31.

BBYO Plans
Dance, Conclave

Strauss AZA will hold the Sec-
ond Annual Get Lucky Dance, 8
p.m.-midnight, Jan. 25, at the
Maple-Drake JCC. The dance is
open to BBYO members and
friends; admission is $6.
The Michigan Region BBYO
Young Leadership Conclave I
(YLC I) will be held the weekend
of Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, at the Flo-
rence and Charles Milan Con-
ference Center. For information

NCSY Plans
Winter Events

NCSY juniors (6-8) are invited
to attend a convention in Day-
ton, Ohio, Jan. 31 to Feb. 2. The
cost is $65 including transporta-
tion.
The Israel Culture Club will
meet at lunch at Southfield-
Lathrup in room B209; also at
lunch at Berkley High in the Ca-
reer Resource Center.
The Teen Torah Center (TTc)
will meet 7 p.m. on Tuesday
evenings at the AJE, 12 Mile
Road between Lahser and Ever-
green. The girls' class is held at
the house of Rabbi Steven and
Rachel Burg, 7 p.m. Sunday
evenings. For information, call
967-4746. There is a West
Bloomfield class on Monday
nights at the Gottfried house.
