and many community organizations offer
stipends for Israel travel/study to high school
and college-age students.

The Michigan/Israel Connection also
administers the Israel Programs Community
Scholarship Fund, which provides stipends of
up to $1,000 to Metropolitan Detroit residents
for all recognized programs in Israel.

• Program must begin by September 1998
At least 20 winners to be chosen

Students up to age 30
• Completion of at least one year of college by June 1997
Permanent residents of Oakland Macomb or Wa ne Coun
