Elliot Wilhelm

The Temple Beth El Sisterhood
"All About Books and Movies" se-
ries will continue on two Tues-
day evenings 7:30 p.m. Feb. 4
and March 4, at the temple.
Guest lecturer for the two pro-
grams will be Elliot Wilhelm, cu-
rator of film and director of the
film series at the Detroit Film
Theatre, host of Channel 56's
"Film Classics" and a former film
critic.
On Feb. 4, Mr. Wilhelm will
speak on "The History and Suc-
cess of the Detroit Film Theatre
and Our Movie-Going Habits,
1950 to Today." On March 4, he
will present "A Look at Ameri-
can Film Classics."
Both programs are open to the
community without charge. No
reservations are necessary.

Women Plan
Docent Tour

Temple Kol Ami Sisterhood will
tour Becoming American
Women, 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 at
the Detroit Historical Museum.
Cost for the event is $8 per
adult and $6 per child and in-
cludes a docent tour and round
trip transportation from the

On Women

The Tikvah Group of Hadassah
will host Rabbi Moshe Tutnauer,
11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at
the home of Barbara Horowitz.
His discussion will explore
Purim's implications for Queen
Esther serving as a role model
for modern Jewish women.
