the learning disabled and the ed-
ucable mentally impaired, is look-
ing for members. The group meets
for social and educational activi-
ties on Saturday nights.

Menorah House
Donations Sought

Menorah House, the kosher long-
term-care facility in Southfield,
seeks additional volunteers to en-
hance the quality of life for its res-
idents.
The facility also is looking for
donations of small gifts for resi-
dents who win at in-house bingo
and other games. Among the
items needed are scented hand
soap, costume jewelry, hand lo-
tion, cosmetic kits, playing cards,
aftershave, wallets and change
purses.
Donations of flowers left over
from parties, dinners and other
events are sought for residents'
flower-arranging activities and to
enhance the premises.
Additional volunteers also are
needed for group and one-on-one
activities. Assistance is needed at
tabletop volleyball, card games,
"Beautiful You" cosmetic pro-
grams and at "Joy of Jewish"
events. Menorah House also is
looking for volunteers to provide
companionship for residents at
mealtime.
