El Al Expands
Business Seating
New York — Due to popular de-
mand from passengers, El Al Is-
-rael Airlines has expanded the
'number of business-class seats
on All 747-400 flights. These are
primarily used on the transat-
lantic non-stop route between
the United States and Israel, as
well as other long-range desti-
nations.
The additional business class
section is in the front of the ex-
clusive upper deck. Only two
business class passengers sit in
a row of three seats and the
middle seat is used as a table.
Business class passengers are
being given designer amenity
kits. The kits contain aro-
matherapy formulations and is
the only airline amenity kit to
receive the Humane Society
Seal for no animal testing. In
addition, the compact kit was
,-Resigned with a "hands-free"
feature — a suction cup —
which affixes the kit to the lava-
tory mirror.

JNF to sponsor this travel event
are El Al Israel Airlines, Sher-
aton Jerusalem Plaza and Sher-
aton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers.
The group will experience Is-
rael's "Med-Rim" cuisine, which
includes foods that are indige-
nous to the area and steeped in
\--) biblical tradition. Olive oil,
wheat, figs, dates, pomegran-
ates and grapes (wine) will be
featured at various dinners
throughout the tour. It will be
the first time that these cele-
brated chefs will actually trav-
el with mission participants to
educate and to enjoy the land of
milk and honey.
By visiting Israel's Negev
-) desert, the group will see how

Negev campaign, is developing
the region, making possible the
olive groves, vineyards, fish
farming and agricultural com-
munities, as well as boosting Is-
rael's domestic and export
