29, at Congregation Beth Abra-
ham Hillel Moses.

Chodun will speak on "Crime in
the Suburbs: What You Don't
Know Can Hurt You!"

Rabbi Serbernik

Machon L'Torah, the Jewish
Learning Network of Michigan,
will host scholar in residence
Rabbi Shalom Serbernik, author
of Beyond Your Ego and a senior
lecturer for Arachim Interna-
tional of Israel. He will speak
7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, at
the Max M. Fisher Building, at
3:30 p.m. Shabbat, Jan. 25, he
will conduct a special program
at Machon L'Torah for women in
the Jewish community. At 7:30
p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Machon
L'Torah, Rabbi Serbernik will
speak about "Astrology, Prophe-
cy and Kabbala," and "Contro-
versial Issues in Contemporary
Jewish Living." Refreshments
will be served.
In addition, Rabbi Serbernik
will hold a Uniquely Ours pro-
gram about "Sensations, Emo-
tions, and Our Quest for
Meaning," 7:15 p.m. Monday,
Jan. 27, at Machon. For details
