community members for poten-
tial nominees to the council
board of directors. The election
will be held at the council's an-
nual meeting in May. This year,
the process will include the nom-
ination and election of new of-
ficers and 16 board members.

The Agency for Jewish Educa-

ish Education 101 Workshop
Series for Jewish Educators, 7-

Akiva Hebrew Day School will
host a lunch and learn program
in honor of Tu B'Shevat 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 22. The lunch,
sponsored by Michael and Mar-
la Greenbaum in memory of
Mrs. Greenbaum's mother, will
be followed by an interactive text
study session led by Akiva Ju-
daic teacher Rabbi Nachman
Levine on thetopic of "RI B'She-
vat: The Birthday of the Trees
in Jewish Law and Kabbalah."
